During my early days at Popular Robotics, I organized, promoted and taught several offline and online Robotics & AI workshops to students and adults in different cities across Asia – Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore.
Coming from a software engineering background, I was able to quickly learn the fundamentals of robotics assembly as well as the key components – sensors, motors, GPIO boards, voltmeters, etc. I also learnt the basics of programming robots using Python, ROS and Ubuntu.
I then taught these topics to complete beginners in various workshops, taking them from the basics of robotics theory, all the way to having them assemble and program their first robot using the Robociti online platform.
